Yesterday concluded my twenty-four hour whirlwind trip to St. Louis. Not only was I able to experience Pi Pizza for the first time (YUM), I was able to discover a wonderful exhibit at the World Chess Hall of Fame. As I wandered around the Central West End one friendly gallery worker recommended I take a look at this particular exhibit. Once I entered I was stunned, this exhibit features garments by designers Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Viktor & Rolf-just to name a few. The experience is divided into multiple sections, each relating to a famous Queen, and of course chess. If you happen to be in St. Louis before April 18 I wouldn't miss A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes, Fashion and Chess.
Sweater Weather
As it starts to get colder I have been craving fall tones and sweaters. Here are some of my favorite fall picks to get the season started!
Lulu Frost
Those who know me well know that I love J.Crew and that I love jewelry. Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost describes her work as a blend of "antique, vintage and modern elements to reinvent timeless classics." While I discovered Lulu Frost through J.Crew, browsing her website and collections led me to really fall in love with her style. I have chosen a few of my favorites here, and in a dream world at least one of them would be mine!
