I’m back! Today I’m sharing this group of three Mother’s Day cards I created artwork for. In my job as an artist in the Visual Studios we create collections before actual product is planned and I was excited to see this look applied to these Mother’s Day cards! Have you picked out a card for your mom yet??
Mother’s Day Lettering
Friends! Mother’s Day is right around the corner. I loved getting to create lettering for some new cards this year and today I’m sharing this first one featuring my mono-weight script. (I also already ordered my mom a present this week that I know she is going to love!) Keep checking back for more of my Mother’s Day work, you can shop all Hallmark’s Mother’s Day cards here!

Lisa Rogers Mother’s Day Collection
Hello, friends! Designing this collection was especially meaningful because I was able to design using artwork created by my mentor and friend, Lisa Rogers. These cards feature tulle, lots of dimension, and a font designed by my friend Lila Symons! Collaborating with other talented ladies is definitely one of the best parts of my job. You can find these cards at Hallmark Gold Crown stores right now!
Mother’s Day Cards — Gilded Photos
Last year I worked on the Fem Team at Hallmark where our biggest project of the year was creating Mother's Day cards! I'm excited to finally be able to begin sharing some of my favorite cards i worked on, and today I'm starting with a photo look. Hallmark has an amazing photo studio, and they created these beautiful florals I was able to use in my designs. These cards also featured my lettering. Over the next few weeks I will continue to share some of the Mother's Day cards I worked on — I hope this inspires you to find the perfect card for the moms in your life!
Lettering Cards: Part Two
As promised, here is part two to share a few of my favorite cards I worked on earlier in my career at Hallmark. (Take a peek at my first post here!) As a designer or artist I always think it is important to look back and be proud of how far you have come, and of older work. Some of these cards were my first projects collaborating with more seasoned designers, and others some of the very first as a designer myself. I hope that many of these cards helped people celebrate those they love!
Lettering Cards: Part One
Spring cleaning is upon us, and while I love getting my living spaces in order this time of year, I'm also updating my portfolio. I did have a section of lettering-focused cards in my Portfolio section of the site but I'm making room for newer projects. So today I'm sharing a few of my favorite cards that I still want documented on the blog. Most of these are cards I worked on in my first few years at Hallmark, some as a lettering artist and some as a designer. I'm really grateful for both roles I have had at my job — there is so much to learn at a company as big as Hallmark. Look out for part two of my favorites soon!
