April Around The Web
Hello, friends! Spring has finally decided to arrive in KC and I'm loving it! This month has been a whirlwind — two of my close friends got married, I traveled to Gulf Shores with our St. Louis friends for one last trip before they all finish school, and this weekend I have a bachelorette party. I'm a little exhausted but it has all been totally worth it, so many happy memories. I've also made a few purchases this month I will share below, but my favorite find was Spencer Charles new script alphabet Sinistral Hand — designed especially for lefties like me!
I've also been admiring Nick Matej's work this month, it's wonderful.
Kelly's closet doors have my wheels spinning for some projects at the house.
Ever since watching the documentary about Iris Apfel I love reading articles about her. These photos are awesome too.
I know renovating our bathroom is a looong way off, but I'm saving these ideas.
Think.Make.Share. hosted a maker exchange and so many of my talented friends participated! I would love to do this with my friends outside of work too.
Always on the hunt for great clean beauty options
This month I won an Instagram give-away from Enjoy! If you live in KC definitely try them out, their green mojito smoothie is my absolute favorite.
I also am testing out Branch Basics multi-purpose cleaner this month and so far so good!
One of my friends is getting married later this Summer and I knew this would be the perfect dress for the occasion, can't wait for it to arrive! Congrats Julia, the collection is beautiful!
And last but not least, I am headed to New York next week and loved reading about some great places to take pictures in the city.
And I'm off to enjoy the sunshine!
Lisa Rogers Mother’s Day Collection
Hello, friends! Designing this collection was especially meaningful because I was able to design using artwork created by my mentor and friend, Lisa Rogers. These cards feature tulle, lots of dimension, and a font designed by my friend Lila Symons! Collaborating with other talented ladies is definitely one of the best parts of my job. You can find these cards at Hallmark Gold Crown stores right now!
Mother’s Day Cards — Gilded Photos
Last year I worked on the Fem Team at Hallmark where our biggest project of the year was creating Mother's Day cards! I'm excited to finally be able to begin sharing some of my favorite cards i worked on, and today I'm starting with a photo look. Hallmark has an amazing photo studio, and they created these beautiful florals I was able to use in my designs. These cards also featured my lettering. Over the next few weeks I will continue to share some of the Mother's Day cards I worked on — I hope this inspires you to find the perfect card for the moms in your life!
Saved: Instagram Roundup
I love saving images through Instagram and every once in awhile I notice a magical trend or palette come together. Here's a recent example: I love how the colors, textures, and photos all tell a little story when brought side by side. Enjoy!

Easter Eggs for Think.Make.Share.
Easter is right around the corner and once again Think.Make.Share. has lots of inspiration for your egg decorating! I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon painting a few eggs, and you can head over to the blog to see all the amazing results. You can also take a peek back at the workshop I hosted last year if you want even more inspiration. Happy decorating!
