Last Friday I had the opportunity to spend six hours doing blitz restaurant branding with Public-Library, a cross-disciplinary design group in Los Angeles, California and Portland, Oregon. I worked in a group alongside Lori Novak and Sydney Goldstein with the task of creating branding for a restaurant located in Berlin, Germany. We described our restaurant as a German pub for the people, aptly named The Society. Above are several images from our final presentation, I will be posting our complete project in the next few weeks. This was my first blitz experience, and I certainly learned a lot designing in such a short time frame. In order to create successful design quickly we had to make decisions as a team and delegate work. At the end of the day we were very happy with our end result, and I am grateful to both Marshall and Ramon for taking the time to lead this blitz and offer their feedback throughout the day.
