Seeing this card out in stores is particularly exciting because I had the opportunity to illustrate for Hallmark Mahogany! I love how the final card turned out, especially all the silver foil details.

In honor of tomorrow being the last night of Hanukkah, I’m excited to share this menorah illustration I created for Hallmark. Sending love to all my Jewish friends as you celebrate this year.

Hallmark has a wonderful selection of photo card designs for the holiday season this year! The two below feature my font, Fieldnotes created by Josh Scruggs, and then my “Merry Christmas” hand lettered title. I’m excited to get working on my personal holiday cards very soon!

In early December I had the chance to take a royal iced sugar cookie workshop from the talented Bernard Shondell for Hallmark’s #My5Days. During the workshop he shared tips and tricks for baking the perfect sugar cookies and taught us how to decorate using royal icing. I absolutely love how my cookies turned out and can’t wait to get them out of the freezer for our Christmas Eve party!
Sometimes our studio focuses on lettering blitzes where I get assigned a particular person to create greeting card titles and tags for. Last year I did a few pieces for granddaughter (one of the longest titles to hand letter!) and it is fun to see them used on these beautiful holiday cards.

I am SO thrilled to share our 2023 Christmas card photos by the talented Lora + Ted. Despite Grant skipping his nap and a meltdown as we got ready for the pictures, she was able to capture our little family so perfectly and I know we will treasure them forever. Thank you, Lora!
