I haven’t had a chance to work on an embroidery project for while, but Think.Make.Share. posted this piece I created and it makes me want to start a new project very soon!

Hello, friends! I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog this month, July was full of lots of work, time at the lake/pool, a trip to the blueberry patch, and several trips to Family Tree (the best place to get plants in KC!). Here are a few of my favorite finds around the web:
Oh Joy! released a pillow collection! Still trying to decide which one I need most, I especially love the lettering ones.
Continually amazed by Lars Paper Flowers, take a look at these foxgloves!
I’ve been contemplating wallpaper in a few spots in our house, and while we don’t have kids I still loved this roundup
An interesting article I read this month
A Tattly design that’s making me want to get back into embroidery, as well as this DIY from Think.Make.Share.!
An idea for raised gardens beds, I could totally see us adding these to our yard next summer!
A craft that reminds me of all the crafts I did with beads as kid!
An LA party that makes me want to hop on a plane and head for the coast
Is anyone else fascinated by peeks into other people’s schedules? Loved reading Ty Haney’s work diary.
Happy Friday, friends. This month had lots of highlights including a weekend in KC with Dale's siblings, a weekend in Hermann in my college girlfriends, and a cake decorating workshop for one of #My5Days! (And I can't forget my first Easter at home in a few years, complete with the 30 and under egg hunt.) On the web, I loved seeing a few of the paper flowers I created make an appearance in Hallmark's Mother's Day Brunch inspiration for 100 Layer Cake-let! They shared so many lovely ideas for your celebration, take a look! Here are some of my other favorite finds this month:
This new-to-me recipe is amazing!
A great guide to a few popular calligraphy nibs from Laura Hooper Calligraphy
This post had me dreaming of another trip to Italy! Tuscany looks stunning.
Has anyone tried Pixel's glasses? Seriously considering trying out a pair.
I would love to get back into embroidery, what a great guide!
We have never tried meal-prepping before, but this article has me curious about giving it a try.
THIS WEDDING. I especially loved it since we were just in New Orleans, but I have to say this is one of the most spectacular weddings I have ever seen.
I used to love making soap for gifts, these gradient soap bars would be fun to try out!
Another day, another llama product on my wish list.
Some great tips for Instagram Stories.
This post had me dreaming of adding some more pink to my Spring wardrobe.
And last, but not least, I am already hooked on The Handmaid's Tale.
Today I decided to share a few images I have recently been inspired by. I try to look through my recent pins every once in awhile to see if any common themes are emerging. This time I noticed pops of blues and corals while scrolling down my feed. I love the idea of being inspired from a wide range of sources and imagery. I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! Feel free to take a look at all of my recent pins.
