Spring has arrived and March has already come to a close. Like everyone, it was hard to not think back to one year ago and Covid-19 suddenly upended everything. I know I could never have imagined that I would still be working from home one year later! This month brought lots of walks as the weather warmed up, I celebrated my best friend Laura’s birthday, more members of my family got their vaccines (!!!), Sophie picked up her wedding dress, and I kicked off another round of lettering mentorship with my new mentee, Olivia! Otto also celebrated his 7th birthday on March 28th — he just keeps getting cuter!

• I’m looking forward to celebrating Easter with my family this year — this DIY from Lars has the most beautiful palette!

April Around The Web

After spending the entire month of April WFH and social distancing I’ve started to settle into a routine. Work has been busy and Spring has arrived in my yard and mostly I’m feeling grateful to be healthy, have a job, and have a home to spend this time in. Of course I miss seeing my friends and family in person but I had plenty of time to find some inspiration around the web this month!

July Around The Web

Hello, friends! I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog this month, July was full of lots of work, time at the lake/pool, a trip to the blueberry patch, and several trips to Family Tree (the best place to get plants in KC!). Here are a few of my favorite finds around the web:

• Oh Joy! released a pillow collection! Still trying to decide which one I need most, I especially love the lettering ones.

May Around The Web

Summer is upon us and May is already coming to a close! This month started out with our California trip and so much has happened since then! This month I’ve been working hard on an internal project on top of some fun lettering assignments, Dale and I have celebrated two weddings (with another this weekend), we spent a weekend at the lake for my Grandma’s birthday, and I’ve been to lots of Holiday Mart meetings and a few Fusion classes. The rest of our summer will be much more laid back and I’m looking forward to time at home and (hopefully) the pool. This month I also loved The Everygirl’s Summer Bucket List. I’m definitely adding the DIY Popsicle to my summer to-do’s!

• I am obsessed with following Elizabeth Holmes #SMT and am on-board to test out the hatband. This one is on my wish list!

• Speaking of the royals, this month Archie (in case you somehow missed it) was born!

• Pretty mini-bundt cakes!

• Morocco is high on my travel wish-list

• Prosecco punch, perfect for a summer celebration!
